Liked: We had lovely time. Campsite has lots of space, it is close to the beach, and has clean showers with normal hot water pressure. Great place to stay. My son enjoyed the playground too!

Liked: Lovely campsite, the sea view was wonderful as were the facilities. They have a pizza bus and outside bar on weekends!

Disliked: Other campers not adhering to the no music after 10pm, although they were quiet by 11pm.

Liked: The thoughtfully laid out pitches within well defined zones worked really well. Much appreciated, and we had a great night's sleep! Children's park was well maintained, clean and safe. Bar, pizza and tent. Lovely reception staff. Like everything to be perfectly honest :)

Disliked: OK, so if pushed there was one thing I didn't like; regretting to have not been told we needed coins to purchase hot drinks from the vending machine in the laundry area. If only we knew before, our breakfast would have been perfect with a lovely cappuccino.

Liked: Large areas to pitch/park up with great toilet/shower and wash facilities. We also enjoyed the pizza van and bar that arrives for summer weekends.

Liked: Everything was amazing, toilets were very clean and warm lots of space and fun park for kids ,grass was Amazing you could even walk around in bare feet! really tacken care of

Disliked: There was a lot of water on the floor next to the showers and there was no way of cleaning it up

Liked: Very helpful employees available on site. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, the few interactions with staff were great. Mat (I think) on reception - very helpful, friendly and welcoming. And the two security guys on site were so friendly. They saw me and my partner struggling a little with our tall tent which we had only put up once over a year ago - and they came over to offer help me put it up! I did graciously decline but they said they would be back soon and if it still wasn't up they would help. We did manage it ourselves but thought it was very kind of them to offer. They stopped by again the next day and offered some advice for things to do in the area. Excellent customer service! The shower / toilet block was clean each time my family used it, both male and female blocks. Lot's of toilet and shower cubicles available within the building. A separate building then available for washing dishes and laundry etc. There were pizzas available to buy onsite and they were delicious. We got to pick our own pitch and found one available that was almost completely level even though we were late arriving.

Disliked: There were some campers on site (group of children walking around unaccompanied) who continued to be loud some time after the quiet period kicked in - but it was only the one night and I guess security were trying to strike a balance of letting them enjoy the end of their day whilst not letting it go on too long which I can live with. Whilst there is a small shop not five minutes away from the site, so far as I can tell, the nearest supermarket is a 30 minute drive away from the site. Just something to consider if you arrive late and don't have everything you need with you. The overnight rate was slightly expensive - but I don't regret staying.

Local attractions

The stunning sands of Oxwich Bay and their fringe of dunes, woodland and coastal footpath should be your first Gower Peninsula port of call, for long lazy days sunbathing and sandcastle building, summer watersports such as sailing, swimming, windsurfing and diving, and boat and jetski launch from the beach. Around the sands, this is prime walking land: take the Gower Coast Path from the bay for a three-and-a-half-mile coastal and woodland ramble to Oxwich Point, or around the same distance from the bay to Port Eynon Walk via Three Cliffs Bay and Port Head. The wetland site of Oxwich National Nature Reserve, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, is also well worth a wander. For a city sightseeing day, Swansea is half an hour's drive from the park.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available pitch on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 14 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs

Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.
Drones are not permitted.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Occupancy

Group bookings of 2 or more units (e.g. tent, touring caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
Group bookings of 3 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
Single-sex bookings of 3 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Pitches

Minimum spacing of 5 metres between pitches.
Please note, pup tents are to be used for storage purposes only. Guests may not use them for sleeping.

Reception

If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
Reception is unmanned after 7 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
No vehicle movement between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m..

Visitors

Visitors are not permitted on site.

Additional terms

Please ensure dogs are kept on a short leash at all times whilst on the park; free-roaming is not acceptable.

Dogs must be exercised off site; there is a huge dog-friendly beach just down the road and numerous walks nearby.

The lounge bar is closed until further notice.
