Access could possibly be an issue if very busy - just quite narrow but not really a problem - would also suggest a mirror in shower room

Wenalt Wild Camp is a beautiful gem. Adele and Paul were incredibly friendly and helpful. The land is steeped in history and looks over to Pen y fan, with incredible views. We stayed in one of the shepherds huts, which was comfy and warm. The outdoor kitchen and sitting area is a brilliant idea. I loved this place! It’s in a great location, peaceful and has everything you need to get back to nature. We would definitely stay again.

The setting in the woods, the wonderful view. The facilities were great compost toilets, warm shower, kitchen with gas hob, dishwashing facilities. Very small and quiet. I loved the firepits and you can buy good dry wood. Adele is very helpful and visited for a chat every day. There were no signs telling me what I couldn't do. No cars with the tents

Ssshhhh Promise me you will keep this a secret ??
Wenallt Wild camp site is just THE BEST little camp site ever....

The adventure starts as you turn on to Wenallt road and head up past all the houses to where the road turns in to a single track..keep heading up the track up and up and up over the narrow gorage until you see the sign small sign with the postcode on it for the camp site, turn right through the gate and your in wild camp paradise, high above everyone else and hidden away from the world.

Adele who runs the site with family is brilliant, happy friendly honest and very helpful. Excellent communication proor to our arrival via text and emails, and she happily allowed us extra days either side of our planned trip due to the weather turning dry and bright. ( didint fancy pitching up in the rain)

Its a lovely natural small site on two levels, lower field and top field with the two eco huts in the main middle field. Toilets worked Shower worked ( hot water) communal area had a gas stove to use.. what more could you ask for on a wild camp site? its all perfect. Each pitch has a small fire pit and fire wood can be supplied at an additional cost.
I stayed on the top field with my two teenage daughters, with the amazing views, catching the sun in the morning and seeing the sunset in the evening. Woodland directly behind us on a wild grass area with only 3 maybe 4 pitches. You can explore the woods and the local area.
Beautiful sun rises, sun sets, surrounded by nature a running stream through the middle of the site, star lit skies and amazing views, a great place to escape the world around us all.
