Gonna be a smart place once fully up and running, we would stay again
Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Nice surroundings by the river.very picturesque, we were able to pitch up wherever. looks like it's gonna be a nice place, still doing some work at the moment adding toilets and showers etc to a high standard. Fire pits are a nice touch
Disliked Power was a slight issue lights shut off early to conserve power ended up finishing my shower in the dark, at time of me being there was only one shower and 1 toilet but as mentioned more on the way. Traffic noise at night was a lot more than I expected or that I'm used to, comparing to Herefordshire but I guess that goes with being so close to Cardiff and the m4. But can't complain in terms of location

Disliked Only issue for this cyclist was the fairly long steep track running into the site, but not an issue if you re driving.

Bell tent
Liked The bell tent was lovely. Very clean and beds all made up. Each tent has a picnic bench and a fire pit. Pretty field setting by a river with lots of space around each tent. Very nice owners.
Disliked Only one shower, two toilets and one fridge for the whole site - more definitely needed.
Also, be aware there is no electricity so bring a power bank. A generator serves the camp kitchen fridge-freezer but can get overloaded.

We only come to air our tents out for the night and that was 5 days ago.
The amazing family who run it have really stepped there game up, I don't think im ever gonna go else where.
The river Taff runs right next to the site so now we need some paddle boards.
