  • Dog-friendly grass tent pitches on Anglesey with views of Snowdonia
  • A 10-minute drive from the beach and the Newborough nature reserve
  • Barbecues permitted on site; bus stop nearby; pub half an hour’s walk
Pack up your tents and poles and other essential holiday bits, for Campio Andy Camping is a lovely tents-only site in the village of Dwyran on the Isle of Anglesey. It’s likely you will rave about the views here for a long time to come, with Snowdonia in the distance. The local beach is absolutely boast-worthy too: the car park for Ynys Llanddwyn is just 10 minutes’ drive away. Look forward to dog-friendly grass pitches and space for barbecues (but no fires, please). There are grassy fields all around, although the site is also next to a main road with easy access to Niwbwrch (also known as Newborough), which has stepping stones, a great pub and access to walks through a nature reserve. Sleeping right next to a petrol station is always handy; the shop sells a few groceries if you need them. There’s also a bus stop nearby. On site, the facilities are made up of flushable toilets and a cold outdoor shower. Just for guests, the site also arranges private evening falconry demonstrations (weather permitting).

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The welcome was warm and friendly despite us arriving late evening. And we enjoyed the daily chats while Andy asked us how we were getting on. The toilet facilities were excellent and the pitch was nice and flat.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked: Lovely little camping spot with on site facilities, 2 x toilets and a shower which were very clean and we'll kept. Ideal for anyone wanting to explore this part of angelsey, with loads of nice woodland walks and ideal for exploring on bikes. The camp site is run by a lovely family who are warm and welcoming with excitement customer service and I would highly recommend for anyone 5 stars all round. We will be booking again next year, thanks for the warm welcome 😊

Disliked: No privacy on shower. A half board privacy screen would be a good idea as we seen someone showering there young daughter with nothing on. But excellent facilities.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked: The site is kept Very clean by Andy who also doubles up as a tour guide 😁 the toilets are kept clean and there are bins for your rubbish bags. There is great beach near by with lighthouses for a day out. A petrol station right next door for supplies or shops just 5 min drive. Overall Andy was great kept on top of anyone who was being too noisy always around to help with any problems and gave us some great day trip ideas. On top of that £10 per night we had a living dome 2 cars and a tent box you won’t find a better deal in Anglesey.
