Pitches

  • Centrally located Anglesey site next to RSPB Valley Wetlands
  • Six miles from the sandy beaches and rocky coves of Trearddur Bay
  • Heaps of peaceful open grassy space and spectacular mountain views
This Anglesey site in Caergeiliog is a bit of alright: utterly smashing vistas over the wide open countryside and modern, well-lit conveniences, plus easy access to the nearest sandy beach and the rest of the isle's abundant attractions. The site itself is a properly peaceful one and you'll have the pick of the spacious and well-laid-out pitches when you arrive, but fear not – you won't have to compromise on views, because at Bryn Ednyfed Caravan Site all are spectacular no matter where you are. Your cordial hosts Ruth and Celfyn are on hand to settle you in, and are happy help you decide where in Anglesey you'll be getting stuck into most of your sightseeing and activity-doing. Will it be castles, prehistoric monuments and mines or walks around its 125 miles of award-winning coastline? Bryn Ednyfed is only a few minutes from RAF Valley too, so jets fly overhead regularly and make for rather an exciting on-hol spectacle during your stay. As for amenities on site, you'll have access to a central-heated shower block with several toilet and shower cubicles and a huge accessible wetroom with a toilet. Water and electricity are both available in the accommodation field. A shop and a pub serving food are within a couple of miles.

38 10-amp fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked We loved this caravan park. It has a very peaceful and calm atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing break. The facilities were really clean and well looked after. Our dog especially enjoyed the play area, which was a great bonus. The shop is just getting started but has lots of promise as a proper farm shop with a good range in future. Even now, the coffee machine serves really nice coffee, which was a lovely touch during our stay.

Disliked Nothing significant to mention, the site is still developing but already very good.

9 16-amp fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Well presented site with plenty of space, owners checked in on the first day to see if we were ok.
Pitches were a very good size and not to close to the neighbours, facilities were immaculate and well maintained, free Wi-Fi which worked without any issues.
Dog field was also an added bonus as it was huge and secure.

Local attractions

Punctuated by prehistoric monuments and beaut natural sights, the entire coastline of Anglesey has also been duly designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making this isle the place to be for history buffs, outdoorsy sightseers, walkers, birdwatchers and wildlife spotters: which covers just about everyone. There's stacks to do a short distance from the site: plenty of sandy beaches and rocky coves await over at Trearddur Bay and Rhosneigr, and there are several good golf courses and lots of quiet roads conducive to contemplative cycles around the island. Feather fans can visit the nearby RSPB Valley Wetlands, and further afield they can watch out for flocks of puffins, ravens, buzzards, peregrine falcons and other bird species around the rocky cliffs and offshore islands of the Llŷn Peninsula. Mountain walks and climbs over in Snowdonia are a cinch to get to as well, and you can learn about centuries' worth of Welsh history at nearby castles, museums, monuments and mines such as medieval Beaumaris Castle, National Trust's Plas Newydd house and gardens, 19th-century South Stack Lighthouse and the former copper mines of Parys Mountain.
