There is one luxurious static holiday caravan sleeping 4 which may also be hired on site.

Local attractions

The site is in a top spot for beachy days, as the stretch of coast hereabouts is particularly pretty. When tastes aren’t guided solely by proximity to home base, making the trek to Porthdinllean beach is essential for the scenic sands of the cove and the famed Ty Coch Inn. Visitors can’t drive to the beach, but the five-minute drive followed by the 20-minute walk is absolutely worth it. Keeping urban choices coastal won’t lead guests astray either: it’s a 10-minute drive from base to Pwllheli, where guests can stroll the marina, visit the cinema, sample local fish and chips or wander the shops, and 35 minutes to the stunning Italianite village of Portmeirion. Turn away from the sea breeze with ventures inland to Snowdonia National Park (30 minutes), which can be explored in part on the Welsh Highland Railway and Ffestiniog Railway, both of which leave from Porthmadog (30 minutes). It’s a little under an hour to the foot of Wales’ highest mountain, Snowdon, and keen hikers will have their choice of routes to the top.
