Great, quiet campsite with good basic facilities and fantastic owner.
Non-electric grass and earth campervan pitch (small)
Liked Great little campsite! It’s slightly hidden up above a main road and is perfect those that like a quieter site. It’s also good for exploring the Mawddach trail, which is nearby.
The facilities are good, basic and clean facilities with toilets and showers and a washing up area.
The owner is really friendly and approachable and has loads of information on the local beauty spots and sites.
If you are in a van, as I was, you might need levelling ramps as some pitches might not be completely flat. Didn’t affect my stay at all though. Just a point to note maybe.
Overall I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back.

Liked Amazing stay here over the weekend, great walks.
Easy enough to get to Barmouth.
Owner, really welcoming, full of information and really easy to approach.
Down to earth, facilities always spotless.
Was slightly on a slope but nothing you can't handle with some ramps in a van.
We'll be back.
Thank you

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Tranquility, scenery, info from site owner, good clean facilities with everything you need. We didn’t experience any midges though had been warned there might be some on arrival. Site does slope and we don’t have levelling ramps but we still easily found a great pitch for our campervan. Lovely walks from site.

A nice but basic site if you can tolerate midges
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Plenty of space available in the main field, expected it to be far busier given it was the May Bank Holiday weekend.
Greeted on arrival by lovely owner, who gave us the choice and pointed out facilities. These are basic but adequate.
Disliked The field is on quite a steep hillside, and up a narrow pot holey lane, so chances are you could end up with an uncomfortable night in a tent. Also only 2 toilets and showers and not designated men/women. Plus midges which can make camping he'll, so midge nets highly recommended here.
I had 2 horrendous nights . I found a nice level patch at the top near the shower block, but a later arrival also chose to camp up close by and snored really loudly, both nights.
