Fantastic quiet stop with very clean facilities and walks close by.
Electric optional grass tent pitch (maximum 4-berth)
Liked The open space of which we were camped in. Although it was busy it was very quite as there is lots of room for all campers.
Toilets and showers are kept very clean and tidy, with plenty of hot water for showers. Two massive sinks outside the toilet block to wash up your cooking utensils and pans, with washing up liquid available if needed.
Lots of fresh water taps located all over the site.
Finally, great dog walks on the site with short paths to the main Forrest areas.

It’s a great affordable, family friendly campsite.
Electric optional grass tent pitch (maximum 4-berth)
Liked Very affordable, Great family campsite, toilets and showers very clean. The playground on site was great too. Location is close to many sites, things to do.
Disliked Was an older couple who kept being really rude to our kids. I think if you’re looking for an adults only or quiet campsite this isn’t for you, especially during holiday time! Also no shop on site, nowhere to buy/ hire fire pits etc.

A beautiful, well kept site, with lots to explore.
Electric optional grass tent pitch (maximum 6-berth)
Liked This site is so beautiful! So well kept and clean! The toilet, shower, and washing up block were always kept so clean, with the bathrooms smelling beautifully of bleach whenever I stepped in there!x The pitches are wonderful, with plenty of space and luscious green grass, and I love that you can take a gazebo or pup tent at no extra cost. There is so much to explore including a secret garden, a fantastic park, a fairy garden, miles of woodlands, and the most magical Oak trees all around!x The wildlife is just stunning, with so many bunny rabbit's and sociable birds such as Jays and robins….. its honestly so wonderful! It is not far from the lovely beach at Tywyn and although we didn’t get a chance to go this time, its near to the fantastic Dolgoch waterfalls. There is Wifi on site, although we didn’t get the code, and the receptionist was very nice and accommodating when we were unable to arrive during office opening hours.
This is my favourite site to date and will definitely go back!
Disliked There was nothing I disliked that was within the control of the site or staff. The only thing I could think would make it even better, would be a communal fridge/freezer.
A murder of crows descended on two occasions and were so loud that it was hard to sleep, a very loud, very drunk couple were there the first two nights, arguing loudly and cooking and smoking outside the toilet block at gone 11.30pm, and our final two days on site were slightly ruined by some not very kind children (who told everyone that their parents owned the site 🙄)who were rude, disrespectful and aggressive- kicking one of my young children in the stomach/chest and bullying children off the playground, with no respect for adults who tried to speak to them, and who were never supervised. It is a shame because overall, the site was filled with wonderful people and families and if it wasnt for them, we would’ve extended our stay.

Lovely site, level pitches and friendly staff

Liked Lovely views, suitable for all ages. We had daughter and family also on the site. The woodland walk was lovely with the walled garden. Local pub in next village lovely affordable food, Sunday lunch was enjoyed by all the family. Level pitches.
Disliked No real dislikes, the only thing I didn't like was the shower curtains, too close when you are showering, perhaps need updating, but the toilets and showers were kept clean.
