Site type
- A charge of £0.50 applies for the use of the shower.

Liked: Everything! Fabulous views. riverside setting, friendly /helpful staff . Mix of EHU and non EHU
A simple no nonsense farm campsite. Absence of unnecessary rules, functional toilets/showers. Easy to use disposal point for camping toilet.
Eclectic mix of campers/caravanners.
Walks from campsite.
Disliked: Need to drive to Seaside but we knew this when we booked.

Liked: Couldnt expect anything better, for the price of this site its value for money!
Staff well greeted you and were very nice.
Many places to pitch up and camp, also theres a river on site going around was perfect as the sun was out all weekend!
Loved having the firepit out on the night and the disposable bbq's.
Theres a communal area with freezer, sink, kettle, washing machine, and fridge but the fridge was broken at this time but wasnt an issue as the shop was 15 minutes away.
Free WIFI on site aswell
Toilets were at a nice standard
Disliked: Fridge was broken

Liked: Really friendly camp manager, felt safe as a female solo traveller, toilets were clean and always topped up with paper and soap. Very peaceful.
Disliked: Showers only take 50p piece of which I don’t have one but I managed with birdbaths!

Liked: Everything - we wanted a place in the valley of the mountains with good views, scenery and wildlife but not too far away from main roads for places to visit and points of interest, we also wanted a mixture of basic facilities with a wild camp feel to it and that is definitely what we got at Bird Rock :-) the plot we had was tucked in the corner by the stream which was just amazing - falling asleep to that babbling and bubbling away then waking up with the sun, the cows, sheep and birds was simply breathtaking. The staff were helpful, friendly and relaxed and other campers were very thoughtful and polite. Have already recommended this site to others and will be visiting myself again! Thank you xo

Liked: We really enjoyed exploring Dyffryn Dysynni. What a stunning location. Fascinating to see Rhian and her family hard at work at the farm and in the filed, tending to new born lambs and calfs.

Liked: It has lovely views and there was WiFi to connect to, manger was very helpful and lovely.
Disliked: The ground is very very hard pegs wouldn’t go in we had to leave after first night because it was far to windy and with the pegs not going we couldn’t risk it with 40mph gusts, there is no signal at all
