Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Good pitch size
Disliked Site is quite a distance from a main road down a very narrow lane we were fortunate we didn’t meet any vehicles coming the other way.
Only 1 toilet and 1 shower in the same building/ shed facilities need modernisation. The waste disposal is a pipe in the ground not covered.

Liked I recently stayed at Sandy lane farm campsite and really enjoyed it. The owners, Les and Mandy are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment i arrived. The campsite itself is very quiet, providing a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I experienced the new born lambs which was a highlight.
There is plenty to do in the local area, with various activities and attractions to keep everyone entertained. It is a 15 mins drive to Chester and locally (8mins drive) there is Broughton retail park with shopping, restaurant's and cinema. 10 mins walk away are 2 great pubs and a local shop.
The facilities at the campsite are adequate, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay, they are well-maintained and clean.
Additionally, the pricing is very reasonable, making it an excellent choice for budget-conscious travellers. Overall, I highly recommend this campsite for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway but plenty on the doorstep.
