Excellent site. Hoping to come back soon.
Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked The facilities where clean, always hot water and camp site was beautifully manicured. Very quiet site (which was exactly what we love), no light pollution so had a beautiful view of the stars. Enjoyed our qeekend to the sound of owls, woodpeckers and buzzards. The site manager Angie was so lovely and helpful, always available. Walk into town is only 20 minutes and great for further walks. Such a friendly town which excepts dogs in every shop/ pub/ restaurant. Walked to the horse shoe falls which was beautiful and highly recommended. Very peaceful and relaxing weekend. Hoping to book again soon.
Disliked We have a Boxer dog who is extremely well behaved and chilled however we kept him on a lead as requested. Unfortunately there was a dog running around the site off the lead for our entire stay. No control from the owner and made us sit inside our awning just incase. The day we where leaving the site owner had a word with the dogs owner however felt this should have been dealt with sooner.
