  • Small glamping site deep in the spectacular Cynwyd Forest
  • In Denbighshire, a mile from Cynwyd and 30 minutes' drive from Bala
  • Well-presented outdoor accommodation with gorgeous forest views
Greener Glamping is a small glamping site in northern Wales, set in the spectacular surroundings of the Cynwyd Forest and half an hour's drive from the edge of Snowdonia National Park. These eco-conscious units are properly off-grid, with ultra-low levels of surrounding light pollution, renewable energy and pitch-black skies for stargazing after dark. The site is about a mile from the small village of Cynwyd, where you can stop at the village shop to pick up essential supplies (as well as taking in the rather special views on the way). Inside, the accommodation has a fair amount of comfort and luxury: the units come fully-equipped for cooking, have brightly-lit bathrooms and are powered and heated by sustainable sources (produced on site wherever possible), including a wood-burning stove. The result is a quiet, self-contained and cosy stay for all involved. Greener Glamping also has views over the Berwyn Mountains, a cracking collection of hills which have often been associated with King Arthur in local Welsh legends. You're also just half an hour's drive from the edge of Snowdonia National Park if you fancy conquering some of Britain's most rugged mountains.
