What customers say

This is a small, friendly site with outstanding views over Llandudno. Pitches are on a driveway, offering basic facilities including EHU, water, and Elsan point. It's in an excellent location, a short walk to town and local attractions. Some visitors noted pitches can be tight, particularly for larger motorhomes, and there are no toilet or shower facilities. Despite this, many found it a convenient and peaceful stopover, highly recommending it for its location and welcoming hosts.

Fully-serviced hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked The view is incredible. I just sat staring for an hour with a beer.
Easy walking distance to town… around 20/30mins. The coast walk was our favourite.

Disliked It’s tight for a 7.45m motorhome but possible and shouldn’t complain.

Fully-serviced hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked The gentleman who owned the pitches was absolutely lovely! I was struggling to get my old non powered steering camper into the spaces and he steered me in, moving obstacles and even offering to turn the wheel for me when my arms got tired.
The view is just amazing, could sit with the back doors open and watch all day.
We booked at last minute to to myself feeling unwell and the owner couldn't of been more helpful, even asking if we had eaten as he could sort a takeaway for us etc. Definitely very welcoming and would go above and beyond.

Disliked It was extremely tight to get the vans in, especially if you lack power steering.
Vans were very close together. Not really room to sit outside by your van because of the closeness.

Liked Ideal location when attending Venue Cymru. Owner very pleasant & helpful.

Disliked Proximity to other vans, very very close to each other, however I do understand it’s an aire type stop over.

Fully-serviced hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked The views and proximity to the bus stops although the return was a bit of a pull! However, you can’t have amazing views and be on a low level in Llandudno.

Disliked Pitches extremely close together, too short and children, presumably from the house accommodation playing around the van, throwing games and football.
Too expensive
Too difficult to park on the very rough ground
Too difficult to leave with the swing of the rear of the vehicle being so close to the next one.

Local attractions

There’s no missing the Great Orme in Llandudno – the huge limestone headland towers over the town, and is a fab place to spend a few hours. Walk over the there in about half an hour (or drive in 10 minutes) for walks in the Great Orme Country Park, including hikes up the mini mountain if your muscles permit. If not, clamber on board the cable car or the tramway to be taken to the top for stunning sea views. Point your car south and 10 minutes’ drive will take you instead to mighty Conwy Castle, standing strong since the 13th century, or to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, for close encounters with rare beasties including snow leopards, gibbons and lemurs. Once you’ve warmed up with walks on the Great Orme, perhaps you’ll be ready to make your way up Snowdon, 45 minutes away (again, there’s a train to the top for those whose legs rebel against such antics). Heaps of other trails both lung-busting and less demanding await around Snowdonia National Park too (try Betws-y-Coed, half an hour away, as a good starting point), and there’s a rare chance to surf among mountain scenery at Surf Snowdonia, 20 minutes’ drive from the site.
