Sea air, stacks of places to eat, scenic strolls and stunning Snowdonia a short drive away… lovely Llandudno’s a nifty location for a north Wales break.
Excellently placed for all the above is Tan Yr Allt Hall, flanked by woodlands on the eastern edge of town and in an elevated position with fab views out towards the sea and over to the Great Orme. Footpaths run through the estate behind the hall: excellent news for those who need to stretch their legs after a long drive, or fancy seeking out a place to picnic...
In the mood for something more substantial? A range of restaurants is in Llandudno’s centre, along with plenty of cafés, pubs and a sizeable supermarket – and it’ll only take you a mere 10 minutes or so to meander down there. A similar length of stroll will land you at one of the town’s two beaches; if it’s not paddling weather, the town’s also got golf, a skiing and snowboarding centre, and great walks on the Great Orme, plus shops in which to spend your pocket money.

Friendly owners, view over town and bays
This was just a private drive not fit for caravans too expensive
From the manager...
Well, Barry's friend came up to us specially, asking if we could make an exeption for him to bring a caravan up to our site , we said we don't take caravans and said as a one off we would agree if the caravan had electric movers to maneuver itself around , Barry and his wife turned up with a 20ft caravan and a large towing vehicle then had a problem maneuvering it around BECAUSE THE ELECTRIC MOVERS WERE BROKEN I even gave him a battery to use in case it was a battery problem , so please don't come again with a caravan and one that is broken and will not maneuver around. People love coming here to our small site for the position and views and very close access to Llandudno . Mr collins

From the manager...
We offer a basic site , but with awesome views , quietness , and a great position for Llandudno and the surrounding tourist attractions , you will not find a better position and location than this and will be miles away from Llandudno using any other sites , the site facilities are under development , as they say Rome wasn't built in a day .

There’s no missing the Great Orme in Llandudno – the huge limestone headland towers over the town, and is a fab place to spend a few hours. Walk over the there in about half an hour (or drive in 10 minutes) for walks in the Great Orme Country Park, including hikes up the mini mountain if your muscles permit. If not, clamber on board the cable car or the tramway to be taken to the top for stunning sea views.
Point your car south and 10 minutes’ drive will take you instead to mighty Conwy Castle, standing strong since the 13th century, or to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, for close encounters with rare beasties including snow leopards, gibbons and lemurs.
Once you’ve warmed up with walks on the Great Orme, perhaps you’ll be ready to make your way up Snowdon 45 minutes away (again, there’s a train to the top for those whose legs rebel against such antics). Heaps of other trails both lung-busting and less demanding await around Snowdonia National Park too (try Betws-y-Coed, half an hour away, as a good starting point), and there’s a rare chance to surf among mountain scenery at Surf Snowdonia, 20 minutes’ drive from the site.
