What customers say

This is a small, friendly site with great views over Llandudno. Pitches are on a driveway with basic EHU, water, and Elsan. It’s in a great spot, a short walk to town and attractions. Some found pitches tight, especially for bigger motorhomes, with no loos or showers. Despite this, many found it a handy, peaceful stopover and recommended it for its location and welcoming hosts.

Fully-serviced hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked Lovely location overlooking Llandudno. Lovely welcome .
30 minute walk into heart of Llandudno.

Disliked Difficulty to get on and off pitch. Suggest parking bays diagonal for ease of moving in and out. Turning area.
Bit pricey, but aware it’s the only parking for Motorhomes near Llandudno.

Fully-serviced hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked Superb views make it well worth it.
Quiet (but that could depend on your neighbours).
Convenient 10 minute walk into Llandudno.
It looks like it’s still being developed so may have room for more campers soon.

Disliked Like other reviews, the campers are fairly close to each other, but it didn’t affect us at all.

Fully-serviced hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked Good location. Easy to find. Slightly out of town but within easy walking distance. Basic facilities (ehu, chemical waste and fresh water.) which are great for a short stopover. Owners friendly and on site. Views are spectacular over the town.

Fully-serviced hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked Amazing view over Llandudno.
Really friendly host.
All the facilities we needed, water, bins etc.
A short walk from shops restaurants and the beach at the quieter end of Llandudno. It’s situated in a very pleasant area.
There is also a kids paddling pool and ample parking for the sea front very close by.

Disliked Not private.
Spaces are too tight together, this wasn’t an issue for us because nobody else was there, we also have a large van. If you’re in a Transporter etc you’d have a little more space, but some really needs to be reserved for sitting outside etc.
If it was full, then there would have been an issue.
My advice to the owner would be to reduce the amount of pitches to make them more private and charge more to compensate.
The place is clearly under development and finishing that off would be a huge benefit.

Local attractions

There’s no missing the Great Orme in Llandudno – the huge limestone headland towers over the town, and is a fab place to spend a few hours. Walk over the there in about half an hour (or drive in 10 minutes) for walks in the Great Orme Country Park, including hikes up the mini mountain if your muscles permit. If not, clamber on board the cable car or the tramway to be taken to the top for stunning sea views. Point your car south and 10 minutes’ drive will take you instead to mighty Conwy Castle, standing strong since the 13th century, or to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, for close encounters with rare beasties including snow leopards, gibbons and lemurs. Once you’ve warmed up with walks on the Great Orme, perhaps you’ll be ready to make your way up Snowdon, 45 minutes away (again, there’s a train to the top for those whose legs rebel against such antics). Heaps of other trails – both lung-busting and less demanding – await around Snowdonia National Park too (try Betws-y-Coed, half an hour away, as a good starting point).
