What customers say
This peaceful adult-only site offers stunning countryside views and spacious, level pitches. Guests consistently praise the friendly and helpful owner, Carolyn, and the excellent, clean facilities, particularly the powerful hot showers. The on-site honesty shop is a popular addition. While some mention the rural, slightly remote location and occasional windy weather, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many planning to return.

A relaxing, peaceful place
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Very peaceful and Carolyn is really friendly and helpful. Facilities are basic but clean and functional with showers, lots of hot water, roomy loos, the ladies has a dressing room with large mirror and hairdryer which is 50p to use (the dryer, not the room). There is a dishwasher area with big deep sinks and a kettle, toaster and microwave, which are free to use and a washing machine and tumble dryer for which there is a small fee.The site is on a slope but the pitches are level which is great. Had a very relaxing couple of nights. The free range chickens are quite comical, they came running every time we went down to the facilities, one even insisted on coming in the small honesty shop with me. The sky at night was largely clear and because there's little in the way of light pollution the stars were incredible.
Disliked Nothing negative to say about the site. The only bugbear, and this is nothing to do with the site is that the award winning pub was closed Wednesday and Thursday and guess what days we went? Also not dog friendly, dogs are allowed in the beer garden only. Just something to bear in mind. On a positive note, I did see a sign that the sites next project is a micro pub, hopefully it will be up and running before we visit again.

From the manager: Thanks for your review .
We do not advertise WiFi .
We do state that 5g ee is good reception.
Site isn’t under pylons
But we do have over head electricity and phone lines because we are rural. Is that what you mean.
