Great stay - lots of room
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked So much space! Could easily find your own little spot. I didn’t use much of the facilities as I’ll in an off grid Campervan so can’t say but the views were great and very easy to get to. I’d definitely go again.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Check in was super quick and even though it was busy was easy to find an area to pitch up. Lovely pub called the Queen's head just a short walk up a country lane.
Disliked Size of the facilities such as showers and toilets could be bigger given the size of the site.

Liked I can honestly say my stay with family over the Bank Holiday weekend was great. On reading some reviews was a bit worried but honestly had no issues . Yes it's a working farm the bins do get full but to be expected the toilets are dated but kept clean the same with the showers . The staff are lovely and friendly nothing is to much trouble. Also a nice touch to have put a baby changing table in the women's bathroom. The camp site is cheep and cheerful and works the views are great I don't know what people expect its wild camping in a fantastic location

3 stars 🌟 is generous
Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Great location and the sun was shining, but that’s about it!!
Electric supply was on a meter, and luckily for us the last occupants had left credit so no extra charge for us.
Disliked I know that was advertised as ‘back to nature’ and ‘wild camping’ and it was the hottest bank holiday of the year so far. But the site was ram packed and full, probably more than 200 pitches plus. There was only 1 chemical toilet waste disposal point, six wc’s and 6 basins in the female and male blocks, which were not kept clean and hygienic, which I appreciate was partially down to the habits of the campers! There were 6 showers for all campers, which were of average standard. There was a bank of 15 commercial size wheelie bins, which were overflowing and smelly and not emptied during our 3 night stay. Recycling was virtually non existent.
Checking in was ok, although initially we were allocated an already occupied pitch.
How on earth the owners could think that the pitch price was justified I do not know?
How does someone like this get a local authority licence to run such a large site?
I really think that Pitch-Up should disassociate themselves from this campsite?

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Big open field with lots of space on the pitches.
Disliked Toilets need a serious upgrade. They were not clean, had toilet seats missing and quite often wouldn’t flush.
The bins were overflowing so there was rubbish all over the floor surrounding the whole bin area.
There was no hot water in the washing up area.
