What customers say
Visitors praise the site's beautiful location, stunning views, and exceptionally clean and well-maintained facilities, particularly the modern, individual shower/toilet cubicles. Staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The grounds, including the orchard and wildflower meadows, are highlighted, as is the well-placed children's play area. While pitches are generally spacious, some noted they can be slightly sloping. Close proximity to Hay-on-Wye is a significant advantage.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (sloping, wild)
Liked Just home from a lovely long weekend and despite the rain we had a great time. It's a fab, well maintained site with lovely extra touches like the provided washing up liquid/ brushes and draining racks, a freezer for ice block refreezing and a charging point for devices/ power banks. Loved having the bathroom with shower, toilet and sink in a cubicle, deff the best bathrooms on a campsite we've seen and lovely and clean too! The small park was nice and central and great for smaller children. Even the dog was catered for with a dog walking route around the wild camping area and other areas on the site and plenty of dog poo bins dotted around.
We had some lovely walks from the site and also visits into hay on wye which isn't far away by car. We stayed in the wild camping area which had beautiful views and was so quiet in the evenings. The sloped pitches are manageable and large enough to be able to park by the tent even with a large tent. We're already talking about coming back next year again!

Non-electric grass tent pitch (sloping, wild)
Liked This site is maintained to an exceptional standard. Pitches are well spaced apart and the showers/ toilets are very well stocked and looked after. There are facilities to wash up, charge your phones and even refreeze cooler blocks if needed. The play area for children is super useful and the grounds are beautiful. And that is before you take in the stunning views.
