  • Peaceful and green Mid Wales site on the banks of the Dyfi river
  • Machynlleth 15 minutes' drive; half an hour to the coast
  • Easy access from the A470; pub, shop and café 10 minutes' walk
Countryside views and convenient access all in one location? Parc Bryndyfi makes a fantastic base for a Mid Wales break – this lush green oasis of a site is a proper rural place to stay, surrounded by trees and with the Dyfi river running down one side. The convenient access comes in the form of the A470, one of the main roads running through this part of the world. It’s just outside the site, making your ins and outs nice and simple and making it easy to get out for day trips to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park or over to the coast. For even more on the convenience front, the village of Cemmaes is about 10 minutes’ walk away, with a traditional pub (serving food as well as drinks) and an award-winning village shop/café. For more shopping and eating, head to Machynlleth, 15 minutes’ drive away. The setup at this site is fairly simple, but guests have access to smart bathroom facilities and an indoor washing-up/kitchen area. Dogs are welcome, and there’s plenty of space for them and the kids to have a good run about.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: Amazing campsite!! Booked for a night whilst travelling around wales and this was one of the best campsites we’ve stayed at. Chris was so lovely and welcoming. The washing facilities were so clean and tidy. Was disappointed thinking we wouldn’t see any of the aircraft flying past but got a wonderful display in the evening and in the morning before we left. Would highly recommend staying and will definitely be returning.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: Everything. A really peaceful and beautiful spot. Chris was very welcoming and helpful. The toilets and showers were spotless. We will definitely return

Disliked: Only criticism was that the toilets were in with the shower so only 2 for women and 2 for men so would be a bit tight if busy but apart from that it’s perfect

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: We loved this site! Booked last minute for one night and arrived at 7:30pm to be greeted with the loveliest of welcome by Chris. He gave us a choice of spacious, hard standing pitches each with EHU and water point. When he realised we didn’t really need EHU as we have solar, he offered us our choice of spots on the lower camping area right next to the River Dyfi. The facilities were spotless and newly installed. The site is very well laid out. It was the most lovely, last-minute stopover.

Disliked: The site itself is great, only slight downside for us was we only had the option to book a EHU/water pitch on the website. There were plentiful grass touring pitches without EHU on the lower field next to the river, which we preferred but didn’t have option to book, so £33 for a grass pitch without EHU did seem slightly expensive.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Beautiful view of Afon Dyfi and the kids enjoyeda nice dip. Plenty of wildlife to be seen on the Riverside from cranes, ro rabbits and pheasants. Made to feel very welcome and plenty of space to let the kids run free.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike apart.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked: Fantastic little campsite. Chris met us when we arrived and showed us around. He also came to check how we were getting on in the evening. We camped on the non electric gated field by the river and it was a short walk (100-200m) to all facilities. There is a shower/toilet and washing up block which is new and immaculate. Recycling area too. The whole campsite is spotless and well presented. Campsite is just off the main road and is ideally located for the Snowdonia National Park and a trip to the seaside. There is a bit of traffic noise in the day but it was lovely and quiet in the evening. We can't wait to visit again. THANK YOU.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: The week we spent here was bliss, it was so quiet and serene in the evenings. The view in the morning was idilic over the river. The facilities were amazing, always clean with plenty of space. The staff on site were brilliant with a warm welcome on arrival, with Chris making the effort to come and check in throughout the stay and a final check up on our day of departure. Would 100% stay here again and would recommend for others to stay.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked: Absolutely beautiful site. The views were unbelievable, camping right next to a gorgeous river which you can swim in, we also seen a few fishermen there on the day of arrival. The site in itself was nice and peaceful. The owner is very friendly and checked to see if we needed anything. Facilities are immaculate, I think they get cleaned twice a day. No wifi but excellent signal.
