Liked: Immaculate! Could not fault anything. Shower/toilet facilities were spotless. Liked the set up. Parked up next to the river as I didn’t need hook up, just bliss. Chris, site manager was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

Liked: I would say the best campsite I’ve stayed on , met my cousin and her kids and we camped on the bottom field next to the river . Stunning scenery and the kids loved playing on there blow up boat on the river . The toilets and showers were very clean and warm , with an indoor washing up area which was also very clean . Chris the manager was very helpful and let us borrow his torch as one thing we had forgot .

Liked: Everything, Chris is a fantastic host, super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Stayed for 2 nights on a non electric camping pitch which was along side a river with spectacular views, plus its on the Mach loop so we were lucky enough to see RAF planes passing by. The shower/toilet/potwash block is pristine. Cleanest facilities I’ve ever used on a campsite. If your kids enjoy old school camping, wading in the river, climbing trees, kicking a ball and roasting marshmallows over a disposable bbq, this place is ideal! It’s only a 30-40 minute drive from the beach and some spectacular lakes making it a great base, but there are some lovely walking routes near the site too. Would 100% recommend
Disliked: Nothing. But if your kids need a park or entertainment this might not be for you
