We have been awarded several C&CC Rosettes because visitors have written to the C&CC praising our site. Grantley Court is a beautiful 5 van Caravan Site in the Powys Village of Llandrinio. Close to Oswestry, Welshpool & Shrewsbury. We have a Camping & Caravan Club Certificated Site licence for 5 caravans in the secluded rear paddock. You will be delighted to hear that the field is nice & level. The Paddock is 1 1/2 acres in size with the grass always kept neat & surrounded by hedges. The entrance to the property is off the B4393, over a gravel drive & then into the field at the rear. Access is easy. Within a short walking distance is the Punch Bowl Inn. They serve good food & always have guest beers. A bit further up the road & 1 mile from Grantley is the local Garage with a Post Office, mini supermarket & bottled gas supplies. Grantley Court enjoys a splendid scenic situation in between Shrewsbury, Welshpool & Oswestry.

Route directions

We are situated on the B4393 1 mile outside Llandrinio Village on the Shrewsbury side. If you are coming from Llandrinio Village towards Shrewsbury, you will pass the 'Punch Bowl' pub, we are 1/2 mile futher down on the left. Try not to overshoot, as it is tricky to turn around. If you reach the bridge and traffic lights, you have gone too far so go over the bridge and turn around at the 'Criggion' junction. Then we are 1/2 mile after the bridge on the right. If you are coming from Shrewsbury direction, we are 1/2 mile after the bridge on the right. If you reach the 'Punch Bowl' pub, go past, through the village and cheekily turn around using the petrol station. But make sure you use their shop for provisions and gas!

Just a short distance from the caravan site is the River Severn, Criggion and Rodney's Pillar. It really is an ideal spot for those who enjoy some peace and tranquility. Walkers will discover short rambles locally and longer excursions in the surrounding hills and valleys. There is plenty to see and do in the area ñ you could easily spend a day exploring Powis Castle, or taking a ride on the Welshpool & Llanfair Steam Railway. Or perhaps you might take a look at Lake Vyrnwy, or visit one of the excellent local garden centres if that is more your style.
