What customers say
This is a peaceful, clean, and well-maintained campsite, often praised for its riverside location and proximity to a good pub. Visitors highlight the friendly owners, level pitches, and excellent value. While many report a very positive experience, some mention limited facilities, specifically only one shower per block, and dated bathroom interiors. Despite minor drawbacks, most guests express a desire to return.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Very clean and tidy site. Toilet block modern and spacious. Lovely position by the river.
Disliked It’s probably operator error but I couldn’t get a very warm shower despite being lots of hot water in the taps.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Racheal the owner was very welcoming we had a lovely chat after we pitched up. The site was a fantastic little gem good grass pitch sizes on level ground. It had everything we needed in the way of facilities and kept very clean and the views were amazing. Near by towns for shopping. Loved every minute.
Disliked Nothing, no dislikes to do with the site but next time we will look at the weather and bring appropriate clothing.

Great value for money site.
Electric hardstanding pitch
Liked Great location next to the river and views of the surrounding hills. The Severn Arms hotel/ pub was accessible directly from a path at the end of the site and food there was very good. The hard standing pitch was a good size too. Most pitches were taken by seasonal caravans which were not in use so it was very quiet. Great facilities block, very clean and Well maintained. Would stay again if in the area as it was great value for money.
Disliked Only 1 shower which wasn’t a problem as it was quiet when we stayed but could be at busy times.
