What customers say
This campsite offers stunning sea views and a peaceful atmosphere. Guests praise the spacious, clean pitches and friendly, helpful owners. The modern toilet and shower facilities are frequently highlighted. While the coastal path offers beautiful walks, some mention the narrow access road and the walk to New Quay can be steep. Showers require payment, with a £1 charge for 10 minutes.

Electric grass pitch
Liked The weather was nice
Disliked Note to self read reviews! You have to pay for the shower! Did not know this, had to search for change to shower the kids in the morning. There were two toilet blocks, one cleaned more than the other but both clearly needed to be cleaned more often. Especially when you are expected to pay for the showers- this was not made clear on arrival. At £130 for 4 nights for a family of 4- you would expect showers it be included in the price. The play park has seen better days. The whole place looks run down. The ground had about 2 inches of soil before the bed rock so made the tent in the wind fun with a worry that it would blow over

From the manager: Note to self-load of humbug. Sour grapes coz he didn’t book a sea view pitch and upset coz they were all fully booked! Rundown! my aunt Fanny! Everything looks arid and dry we agree-but check the weather out of late for goodness sake! Everywhere is now slowly greening up again as we have had a couple of rain showers. Pay for showers is detailed in PU-note to self-read description before booking. One main shower/toilet block always cleaned to a high standard-check out previous reviews. No second block but an old inherited building with one toilet that is usually closed-we make it clear on arrival that our main facilities are on the sea view field (which are of a very high standard) and that we have temporarily opened the back field one toilet for convenience which is aged but absolutely clean. Guests have option to choose! Slightly confused re reference to ‘tent’ as booking was for a campervan. Total of four nights was £128.70. We receive 109.40 ourselves as the so called ‘deposit’ is actually commission to PU. Having said that-even at full wack, it only works out at around £32.17 (we receive just £27.35) per night INCLUDING electricity-the usage on each pitch is more often than not a significant amount. Also consider the huge increase in electricity costs to us-particularly at business rates. Water costs has also increased significantly as has rubbish disposal, council tax, wages, fuel for mowers, repairs and renewals and so much more! Worthy of note here, even at PU rates we are still cheaper than other sites in this particular area.
Really lovely campsite, close to New Quay and ideal for families.

Loved everything, it was a very…
Electric grass pitch (sea view)
Liked Loved everything, it was a very peaceful campsite even with kids running round. Plenty of spaces for the tents and room around it plus a big pitch in the middle for kids to play.
Showers and toilets were very clean owners are lovely and it was lovely views plus with it being away from city lights there were plenty of stars to admire in the night. I was very apprehensive about the showers after reading about the 10 minute limit but once you’ve used it once and got the hang of it all it really isn’t a problem, 10 minutes is plenty of time to wash your hair and body and have plenty of time after. Only thing I would probably say is to get an anti slip mat in the shower and maybe a shelf or something to put clothes on as it does get very wet in there. But over all we very much enjoyed staying here for the weekend and would definitely book again

Immaculate site, would highly recommend
Electric grass pitch (sea view)
Liked This site is absolutely spotless, even when it had been raining the toilet blocks were immaculate. I would highly recommend this site to anyone.
The pitches are a brilliant size. The area in the middle was plenty big enough for families to play their games.
I was on a sea view pitch and was highly impressed. I was due to come away with my son but he couldn't make it so I was alone. Felt completely safe, made me chuckle that all the adults nip to the loo with no torches, myself included.
The lane to get to the site is a single track, around 1 mile long and does look like you're going the wrong way, there is also a sign at the beginning of the road which showed a dead end, it's not! slightly confusing but you get there in the end.
The coastal path walk to New Quay is stunning. Quite steep in places but the views are worth the effort.
The ground is very hard to place pegs for awning so I would recommend heavy duty ones, I came back with more banana shaped ones than straight 😂
Disliked Just the flies, it's a farm. It is what is is.

Tip: in sea view field, try for a low number pitch to ensure the view
Electric grass pitch (sea view)
Liked The toilets and showers - modern, clean & just lovely - can't begrudge the extra few pence when they're so clean & lovely!
Disliked Nothing - although would have loved to see it more green, the dry summer had dried it all out.

Enjoyed our 4 night stay
Electric grass pitch (sea view)
Liked Toilet block was great. Pitches were generous in size. Plenty of room for the grandchildren to run around. Helpful staff. A walk along the coast path is a great way to see nature!
Disliked Long walk to empty the chemical toilet, the emptying point is not close to the lovely toilet block, but at the far end of the next field: worth bearing in mind if this is an issue for you.
The almost 1 mile lane, from the main road to the site is, very narrow in places.
