This small, quiet, family run campsite lies along the banks of the river Ystwyth and situated on the Rhayader-Devil's Bridge mountain road amidst spectacular mountainous scenery. The road being part of a route which was rated by the AA in 2002 as one of the most scenic routes in Europe. Relax in the peace and quiet of this valley of outstanding natural beauty. An ideal centre for the country lover, bird watcher, walker or a base for touring around the many places of interest in Mid-Wales. The nearby Cardigan bay is an outstanding and internationally important area for marine wildlife. It was the UK's first Marine Heritage Coast, home to some of Britain's rarest birds and a resident population of some 130 bottlenose dolphins. The University town of Aberystwyth with its thriving cultural scene, home to the National Library, Ceredigion Museum and busy Arts Centre is 16 miles away. Our facilities are of a high standard and consist of ladies and gents toilets, hot and cold water, shower, washroom, electricity hook ups, barbecues, picnic tables, also swings and an embankment slide for the children's enjoyment.
