What customers say
This community-run campsite is praised for its excellent, modern facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Its picturesque riverside location offers pleasant walks into Wick town. While pitches are generally spacious and well-maintained, some visitors noted the temporary facilities required upgrading, though new facilities are planned. The site is considered a great base for exploring the NC500 and surrounding areas.

Worth an overnight stay.
Electric gravel touring pitch (XL)
Liked Locality, very scenic and the toilets were fab, new and clean and plenty of them, hot showers and a well stocked shop.
Fabulous seating area provided inside and out.
Disliked No reflection on the campsite but Wick itself is very rundown. Nowhere really to eat in town so make sure you have your own food. The pier is worth a look and we saw a seal.

Overall it was a lovely campsite with amazing memories made.
Electric grass pitch (XL)
Liked The campsite was amazing facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Disliked The baby seagull. Obviously not the campsites fault but it was still bothersome especially when it tried attacking my 3 and 5 tear olds. Also as someone that stayed for a longer amount of time a pitch more to the side would've been nicer. We were right next to the gate and had people coming and going with cars on both sides of the tent. Again not ideal for small children. We would have preferred to be a little more tucked away.
