What customers say

Visitors praise the campsite's stunning location with beautiful hill and deer park views, peaceful atmosphere, and friendly, helpful staff. Facilities, including showers and toilets, are frequently described as excellent, clean, and immaculately kept, with good hot water. An on-site cafe offering good coffee is also a highlight. Some minor issues were noted regarding Wi-Fi reach, pitch stoniness in some areas, and shower size. Late arrivals may encounter limitations.

Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked Lovely area and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked Nothing disliked. Being really picky the only thing I would say to make it better would be maybe sandwiches in the cafe. Maybe breakfast sandwiches.

Local attractions

No doubt the scenery around the site will have you itching to get out for a walk – and that's easily done, whether you want to take a stroll around the neighbouring deer park or scramble up the slopes of Schiehallion (accessed via the trails around Dun Coillich). A little further afield, you can clamber up Ben Lawers (half an hour’s drive), the tenth-highest of the munros, or head into Tay Forest Park for places like Queen's View (20 minutes), with a stunning vista across Loch Tummel. Down at Kenmore (15 minutes), on the banks of Loch Tay, you can take a scenic boat trip or hire your own boat to explore Perthshire’s largest loch at your leisure. Activity centres in Aberfeldy (15 minutes) can sort you with more adventurous pursuits like rafting and canyoning if you prefer. Got something gentler in mind? Take yourselves instead to 16th-century Castle Menzies (10 minutes), elegant Blair Castle & Gardens (35 minutes) or the former crowning place of Scottish kings at Scone Palace (an hour). Cluny House Gardens (15 minutes) is also lovely for a stroll – or you can sample a few sips of the good stuff at Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery (15 minutes).
