What customers say
This site offers beautiful surroundings and is highly recommended for its peaceful and remote location, ideal for relaxation and walks. Visitors praised the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the clean and well-maintained facilities, including excellent toilets, showers, and a useful campers' kitchen. Many enjoyed the glamping pods and domes, noting they were well-equipped and cosy, with some units featuring hot tubs and fire pits. While generally positive, some guests mentioned minor issues such as the cost of WiFi, some accommodation needing maintenance or better cleaning, and limited catering options.

Liked Not a lot.
Disliked Not a lot to do here. Restaurant is over-priced for the food provided, which I would describe as 'meh'. Reception staff aren't that helpful. Neither are the shops within a 30 mile radius. Except for the community hub in Killin, these guys are flippin' legends. Hired a fishing boat without fishing gear, the shops that advertised fishing gear didn't bloody well have fishing gear, but the Killin hub sorted us out. Nearly ran out of petrol, the local petrol station hasnt had petrol since 'nam, but the Killin hub sorted us out. The accommodation had food remnants, midgies, and an uncomfortable bed, but I bet the Killin hub would have sorted all of that out if we had had the energy to burden them with it. All in all, not the best camping trip, but not all down to the site, and to be fair, more a product of poor planning, combined with a backwards way of life. Other people seemed to be having fun, but they may have been putting on a braver face.

Really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return.
Camping pod (pet friendly, secluded)
Liked The camping pod was great and was as shown in the pictures. I loved that we looked out over a fence at trees and bushes and liked the woodland feel. Good facilities which were kept clean and modern. The staff were friendly and when i mentioned that our window wasnt working properly we had someone come and fix it promptly. Great places to walk our dog, grassy spots, down by the loch and a forest walk available. Also fantastic that they allow fires and supply a fire pit as so many places no longer allow fires which is our favourite part of camping. Already looking at booking again!
Disliked For the money paid free wifi would have been nice.

A beautiful place, but basic accomodation.
Camping pod (premium)
Liked The location was amazing couldn't fault it, very remote and relaxing.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The cabin had all the basic things needed for a self catering stay.
Disliked The cabins were about a ten minute walk up a very steep road to the loch, which wasn't too bad for us, but a bit annoying.
The door didn't close on our bathroom and the sofa bed was so uncomfortable. We ended up sharing our double bed with our 14 year old daughter. No towels provided and they only provide two pillows and bedding for the double bed even though we booked for three people.

Liked Excellent facilities, very Clean
Disliked 4 pm check in is a wee bit late for me . Especially in winter when it’s dark early . Also 9:30 check out is a wee bit early for me . I was the only person in the huts so I would of appreciated one with a view of the loch rather than being further back .
