Camping pod (secluded, pet friendly)

A beautiful location with lots of options for accommodation.
Geodesic dome (hot tub, pet friendly)
Liked Great places to eat on the doorstep. The Cruachan cafe does the most amazing breakfasts. The best I’ve had in such a long time and the couple that run it are just so lovely.
The Boathouse by the Loch served fabulous food too for evening meals and Sunday lunch.
Disliked A little shabby and could be cleaner. A bit pricey for the accommodation we booked.

A fantastic little campsite in a beautiful setting.
Camping pod (secluded, pet friendly)
Liked Loved the little huts, they had everything that we needed and more, the beds were super comfy. The camping kitchen was brilliant, again it had everything you need, plates, cutlery mugs, pans, pots you dont need to take anything. We would 100% return.
Disliked WiFi is patchy, but we went to get away from everything so perfect for that.

Fantastic few days in the glamping pods with my two daughters.
Camping pod (premium)
Liked Fantastic setting and location with plenty for the kids and explore

A decent camping experience but some maintenance / upgrading required
Geodesic dome (pet friendly)
Liked The site was clean and the kitchen facilities excellent. Staff were approachable and the park was quiet and close to Killin. We loved the wood burning stove as it became quite chilly throughout the night.
Disliked The toilets were quite far from the Geopods, making nighttime access inconvenient. Although staff eventually resolved a security issue caused by damage to the pod, it felt dated and could be better maintained. The fire pit also lacked a cooking grate, and conflicting advice from staff about purchasing one meant we couldn't cook the food we had brought.

Everything was fantastic, great little glamping…
Camping pod (secluded, pet friendly)
Liked Everything was fantastic, great little glamping pods, clean on arrival, logs etc already waiting for your arrival to use on the fire pit. Beautiful big site to explore with very good campers kitchen and wash facilities that were well tended and looked after. Any other concerns when you're there were dealt with quickly and in a friendly manner.
I’ve been before so visited again and I’m sure I will continue to visit this site. Some fantastic hill walks right on the door step too.
Disliked The only thing I found was when I made my first coffee an there was some scum in the kettle but I’m sure that someone previous has boiled hotdogs in there haha
I washed the kettle myself and got on with it.

Camping pod (secluded, pet friendly)
Liked Location was great, don't really need to leave the park. Everything you need on site.
Highly recommend the boathouse for fish and chips, book a table in advance as you might get refused.
Disliked Cruachan cafe closing at 12pm on a Saturday.

Camping pod (secluded, pet friendly)
Liked Pods were comfy..shower block v clean & well lit at night. Nice walk down to the pub & loch.
Disliked Shelves in the pod were unusable due to wear & tear. Reported to onsite staff who were v apologetic & said it would be replaced.

Great wee pod and facilities, everything…
Camping pod (secluded, pet friendly)
Liked Great wee pod and facilities, everything was to hand and we just had the best time. The beds were comfortable, was good some of the bedding was provided, the children loved that they could go to the park themselves as we were in Arran so could see the park. The loch was lovely to walk down to, although the walk back wasn’t quite as pleasant. We only had drinks in the restaurant but staff were lovely and friendly, in fact all the staff were.
Disliked The only thing would be the double sheet provided didn’t fit but that is me being really picky.
