Liked The clean toilet block and the views. Most of the pitches you could drive straight into. No reverse parking. Good location for visiting Fife.

Disliked The restaurant which is advertised, is only open Friday and Saturday. Bang went my plans for dinner the night I arrived.

From the manager: Hi Dionne , Many thanks ,glad that you enjoyed your stay with us . Restaurant is advertised as being open Fri Sat and I wish we could open longer hours however this prove difficult in present climate . Perhaps next time you visit we will have extended our opening hours .

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked The view, friendly manager and tea room close by. The ability to do our clothes washing was very useful, and although the spin left everything still dripping, the strong wind dried everything off on the clothes line with our hurricane force pegs!

Disliked Nothing

From the manager: Thanks for your feedback ,glad that you enjoyed your stay .Have now checked washing machine and now seems to be working ok .

Disliked Lovely cafe / restaurant but it has very limited opening hours. Such a shame as we would have made more use of it.
No WiFi.

From the manager: Hi Janice ,Many thanks for your review and glad that you enjoyed your visit . I totally agree with your comments on cafe opening hours unfortunately given current pressures hospitality is facing we can only open with limited times . Hopefully you will consider a return visit and perhaps we will have extended opening times !!

Local attractions

So, St Andrews (20 minutes’ drive) has caught your eye, but where will you descend upon first? Golf games don’t get much more historic than the Old Course (20 minutes) and those of you who are fully into your golfing lifestyle might want to peep into the golf museum in the town. Perhaps Craigtoun Country Park (20 minutes) might be your cup of tea, especially for picnics, playgrounds and walking trails. And how about somewhere a little more remote? The walking trails at Lomond Hills Regional Park (35 minutes) or Loch Leven (50 minutes) are a good shout for relaxation. You’ll get to go wildlife spotting at the same time, especially since Loch Leven is a nature reserve (and many of the trails are cycle-friendly so you can cover plenty of ground). Scotland’s Secret Bunker (15 minutes) is certainly pretty underground, in the literal sense too, as this Cold War bunker has been turned into a museum. And for another historic hidey hole, you'll want to head to Kellie Castle (15 minutes) for its arts and crafts garden and exhibitions.
