What customers say

This adult-only site boasts stunning views over the Firth of Forth. Guests consistently praise the friendly and helpful owner, Duncan, and the clean, well-maintained facilities. Pitches are spacious and many offer excellent sea views. While some mention ongoing improvements and a "work in progress" feel, the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location for exploring the East Neuk are highly valued. The on-site restaurant and takeaway are also popular.

Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Great pitch and view is awesome. Picked a weekend where it was blowing a gale but cant complain. Duncan is a great host and has a good bit of fun about him. Didn't realise the big grey metal unit was toilets, would have saved a walk :)
Showers are brilliant and very warm. Very peaceful and no problems with other guests. A bit of a walk down to the village in the rain but I am sure on a sunny day its well worth it. Defo be back.

Disliked An extra few amps on the electric would be good as it popped a few times and had to move the van late at night as couldn't get it back on. Duncan was up in 2 minutes to try and resolve so no big deal.

From the manager: Hi Paul , Many thanks for your comprehensive feedback and glad that you found our easter weekend special enjoyable . Each year we do an easter egg hunt with lovely prizes given and also hold a raffle with all proceeds going to cancer research . Given the dire weather bitterly cold and storm david to cope with unfortunately this is when we find some visitors probably new to caravanning using 3KW fan heaters ,domestic kettles etc causing over loads to the system .Thanks for visiting our new tea room meeting the rest of the family .
Regards Duuncan

Lovely site and views, will definitely stay again.

Fully-serviced grass touring pitch

Liked Spacious pitches for privacy and great walks from site for the dogs. Lovely laundry room with little treats to purchase. Toilets were lovely and clean. On site tearoom with cooked breakfast and evening meals. Can also do takeaways.

Disliked Limited toilets so might cause a problem when site is very busy. Also no Wi-Fi had to use own 4g which luckily got good signal.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Many thanks ,glad that you enjoyed your visit to our tea room unfortunately during your stay one of our toilets had to be closed due to a drainage fault however now fixed .
Regards Duncan

Fully-serviced grass touring pitch

Liked I love the setting, the layout of the pitches and spaces. The views are breathtaking. Breakfast in the cafe was fantastic. Very friendly staff who were always obliging and kind.

Disliked The toilets ran out of toilet paper. The showers and toilets weren’t cleaned properly or at all, especially in the last 2/3 days which is such a shame as the facilities were in excellent condition the last time we stayed. We also had continuous problems with power outages for a couple of nights in a row.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Hi , Thanks for your valued comments and take on board issue with male toilets and can only apologise . In the event of ANY future shortcomings occurring on site or any issue that needs addressing we will have a sign displaying mobile number that can used to get immediate response .With regards to power outage this was caused by improper use by a n other caravanner .Looking forward to having you visit again .
Regards Duncan

Local attractions

So, St Andrews (20 minutes’ drive) has caught your eye, but where will you descend upon first? Golf games don’t get much more historic than the Old Course (20 minutes) and those of you who are fully into your golfing lifestyle might want to peep into the golf museum in the town. Perhaps Craigtoun Country Park (20 minutes) might be your cup of tea, especially for picnics, playgrounds and walking trails. And how about somewhere a little more remote? The walking trails at Lomond Hills Regional Park (35 minutes) or Loch Leven (50 minutes) are a good shout for relaxation. You’ll get to go wildlife spotting at the same time, especially since Loch Leven is a nature reserve (and many of the trails are cycle-friendly so you can cover plenty of ground). Scotland’s Secret Bunker (15 minutes) is certainly pretty underground, in the literal sense too, as this Cold War bunker has been turned into a museum. And for another historic hidey hole, you'll want to head to Kellie Castle (15 minutes) for its arts and crafts garden and exhibitions.
