Nice stay but could be easily improved
Non-electric hardstanding and grass campervan pitch
Liked Peaceful location.
Quaint vegetarian cafe and farm shop on the premises. Nice food
Good woodland walks
Disliked I love the smaller quirky sites because of the casual feeling they offer. This one offers all that but a little simple maintenance wouldn’t go a miss. The shower drain was blocked and the shower head sprayed all over the place which was pointed out by a previous guest

Rustic and unique base camp to explore the pillars
Non-electric hardstanding and grass campervan pitch
Liked Quiet location with zero light pollution great for star gazing if it wasn’t cloudy

Fantastic level site, friendly staff, woodland walks.
Non-electric hardstanding and grass campervan pitch
Liked Really lovely site with helpful friendly staff. My grass pitch was level and there were little fire drums around that you could use. Loads of nearby woodland walks with a car park along from the campsite so if your time is up on the site, you can go and park in the car park whilst out walking as long as you like. I walked out to Maspie Den which was a beautiful walk with tunnels, bridges and two waterfalls- one you could walk under. Cafe, shop, toilets, shower and washing up area all great.
Disliked Nothing

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Great location and nice farmshop. An ideal entry level camping excursion.
Disliked The farmshop is a little expensive and thus procuring any small bits is a bit inconvenient.

Not level pitches and never seen the staff
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked View walk up the road.
Disliked Shower block only one shower and it sprayed everywhere. Distance to walk to toilet. Needs upgrading. Water tap in field takes forever. And finally people and loud children passing by our tent as the path goes right near us .Won't be back at £35 a night was not worth it.

Lovely rustic campsite great area and lots to see and do.
Non-electric hardstanding and grass campervan pitch
Liked Lovely rustic campsite next to an organic farm shop and cafe. Great walks in the park woods and 20 minutes into Falkland where there are numerous cafes and shops. Great set up. Loved the rustic and laid back feel of this place. Very peaceful. Toilets and shower clean. Nice cafe.
Disliked No hot water in the campers wash room for the pots but that may have just been a problem for the weekend we were there.

Disliked Very slow and lack of efficiency in the cafe which was a shame as I would have spent more but didn’t want to spend ages getting served . It seems to be a common issue as I had the same last time I stayed
