Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff and level pitches 18/07/2017

  • Liked:

Whole site and all facilities. Excellent apart from one minor niggle - speed of traffic through the site.

The official speed limit of 10mph is too high, it should be 5mph, and the site-owned vehicles in particular should obey this lower limit - to set an example to all. There are many young children running about or cycling or 'scootering' and there are many blind corners. This is not a good mixture.

In an accident the child could be seriously hurt, perhaps fatally.

    Disliked:

Speed of traffic (and site owned buggies) through the site.

The site was perfect for kids to play & be safe, it was clean with great shower facilities. Staff were really helpful. Swimming pool was a great bonus as the weather was lovely. It was quiet at night which is good when kids need to sleep. We all really enjoyed our stay & will definitely be back...thank you.

    Disliked:

Loved the caravan park and the views . Second time there and put in practically the same spot . Friends we knew booked at the last minute and got a hard standing pitch just wondered if you need to say you don't want the same pitch

    Disliked:

Grass pitch as it was really bumpy and not level with the result we had to move a bit to the left which made us and the people next to us really close thankfully they didn't mind.

beautiful setting right on the sea front. lovely 20 min walk into the picturesque little town. well kept clean site.

    Disliked:

not being able to pick our own pitches. website did not explain that the pitches on the shorefront were mostly service pitches so did not book one of these even though we distinctly wanted one and was not given the option to upgrade on arrival. the girl on reception was not very friendly or helpful and basically just thrust the site details at us very quickly and said which pitch we were on, no explanation or help as to where it was or anything. pitches were far too close to each other, not much room or privacy
