Newark Farm

Newark is a working beef and sheep farm within walking distance of Sanquhar which has an indoor swimming pool with fitness suite, rail link to Glasgow, golf and all the usual amenities of a small town. Sanquhar is steeped in history and has a free local museum. The CL is sheltered, level and lawned with beautiful views. Milk, papers and rolls are delivered to your door daily. The Southern Upland Way passes through the farm and there are walks for all abilities directly from the site. The river Nith is nearby and fishing can be arranged on various beats. Other local attraction include Drumlanrig Castle, Dumfries House and Wanlockhead which is the highest village in Scotland. Central for touring. There is B&B in in the farmhouse including a disabled room. Wifi available. A warm welcome awaits you.
