What customers say
This is a well-located and friendly campsite, praised for its clean facilities and convenient proximity to shops and the motorway. Staff are frequently described as helpful. While many found it ideal for stopovers, some noted dated shower blocks and occasional noise from nearby venues. Showers are generally reported as hot and clean, with a 20p charge. A few reviewers mentioned poor WiFi.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Liked The site ameneties where very clean. Site staff very friendly, including wildlife. This was a very quiet site, the pitches well maintained. Ideal for me and my wife. 15 to 20 minutes from most of what Gretna had to offer, so we walked everywhere. The local people that we spoke to very friendly, especially the local florist and bakery. This is now one of our favourite sites and we will definately be back for another stay
Disliked There was nothing that we disliked. (apart from wasps)

We went for a wedding and the taxis are a bit hit and miss and not cheap as out the area. Would just say plan these in advance if this is what your planning to do
Definitely wouldn’t stop us doing this again if we have any more weddings this way

Great place to stay.

Liked Easy to find, access was easy. Very welcoming and gave us all the information required. We walked everywhere locally as there is a lot around. Plenty of places to eat out or get takeaway. Would recommend the Indian just up the road (Mcdhaba). Lovely friendly locals. We visited Annan which was a ten minute drive, a beautiful thriving town.
Disliked Not a big disappointment bit the hotel beside the site had a wedding function on until after midnight, it didn't bother us as we don't go to bed until late. I could imagine some people complaining though.
