Liked Big pitches, clean quiet site facilities ok
Disliked Welcome from the owner. The lady who met us was quite angry that we hadn’t read the welcome email correctly and we had put the back legs of our chairs onto the grass. To which we apologised but still had to listen to sarcastic and condescending comments from the lady.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that our interaction came across as angry or sarcastic — that was certainly not my intention. I was aiming for a light-hearted, jokey tone while reminding you about an important safety rule regarding the firebreak area between pitches, as outlined in the email and FAQ attachment you received on the day of arrival.
Fire safety is something we take seriously, to comply with our campsite licence and it's important that we communicate those rules clearly. That said, I appreciate your perspective and that my interaction with yourselves did not land as expected and I will be more mindful of how these messages are delivered in the future. I hope the rest of your stay was enjoyable.
