  • Holiday park with spectacular coastal views
  • Close to a nature reserve famed for its seabird colonies
  • Bar, lounge, indoor sports court and kids' club
Your eyes and mouth will widen as you take in the panorama at Eyemouth Holiday Park on the Scottish Borders: in one direction are the plunging cliffs of St Abbs Head, a 200-acre nature reserve famed for its seabird colonies, and in the other, the curving golden sands and harbour of a scenic seaside town. The park’s facilities include an indoor sports court, outdoor playground, Sparky’s kids' clubs for children aged up to 11, and the Driftwood complex, which houses a bar and lounge, amusements, and live entertainment at weekends. Guests also have free access to the indoor pool in the neighbouring town of Eyemouth, less than five minutes’ walk from the park.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: Located well for the town only a 5 minute walk down the hill, great views over the coast, good facilities (although limited out of season if you're looking for activities linked to the park, which we weren't). Staff were friendly and helpful. Opportunity to see the seals in the harbour and (if it's open) the option to feed them.

Disliked: Very exposed to extreme weather, which we were unfortunate to experience. Beware that all the dinner options in the town seemed to finish by 8pm.

Liked: The view, coastal path and walking distance to town. Site was clean and well maintained

Disliked: Just a little thing that would help in the showers - more hooks, also couldn't connect to Wifi

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: Ehu and water tap at each pitch, pitches are level, nice clean toilets and shower block. Tidy site, pub on site, children’s playground, also passes allow for swim at local leisure centre. 5minutes walk to lovely village and beach. Shop, restaurants, and takeaways in village. Nice short ride to Berwick,

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: I liked the park

Disliked: Your offered free WiFi with ur booking , but when there , there is no WiFi in the touring area . I even called a 020 number to get help to no avail there also was no washing up facilities so I had to bring all my dirty dishes home . So we spent 40 for a pitch and some electricity.. won’t be back

From the manager: Hi Diane, thanks for taking the time to leave your review. While I'm pleased to read you liked our park in general, I'm sorry you were left feeling unsatisfied with some aspects of your stay. I can confirm that we do have washing facilities in the Touring area. In regard to Wi-Fi, we do have Wi-Fi poles dotted around the park, however, this might not be picked up in the Touring area depending on your provider. The signal is best in the bar and restaurant area. We appreciate you taking the time to get in touch and have shared your comments with the team at Eyemouth. ^AB

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: I was very near the Coastal Path and could see the sea between the 2 statics in front of me. Eyemouth was a 15 minute walk along the cliff top. Staff in reception were helpful. Pitch was level.

Disliked: The huge site was crammed full of statics. The shower facilities were awful. So old and a complicated coding system to access them. Only 2 showers. Cramped, one hook only and nothing to put your soap bag etc on. A poor hairdryer. Nothing to clean the shower after use. And the automatic light went off before the end of my shower so plunged into semi-darkness

Local attractions

Eyemouth’s harbour is home to a busy fishing port and fishmarket, and is also regularly frequented by seals and swans. The town has eateries and shops, an art gallery, a museum and maritime centre, and trips out on glass-bottomed boats in the warmer months. The park is well-placed for walkers and cyclists who want to explore the Berwickshire and Northumberland coastlines; this being Scotland, there are plenty of golf courses around too. The walled border town of Berwick-on-Tweed is only 15 minutes away by car and has a good range of shops, plus a military barracks and museum, and a splendid railway viaduct. Venture a little south into Northumberland and you could visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne or Bamburgh Castle, both well worth the trip.
