The food at the adjacent pub, described as ‘excellent’, was disappointing and overpriced. Frozen reheated fish and chips…. Not what we expected

Liked Really lovely location. Nice well maintained site and toilets. The little shop is lovely and having a little dog run to let the dog off the lead is really handy.

Liked Excellent location with stunning views, perfect for sunsets - easy to get around on the South Penninsula.
Clean showers and toilets.
Quiet - other campers very respectful.
Shop nearby is brilliantly antsy stocked and the pub did excellent food with friendly staff and good service.

Disliked Nothing, apart from the rain but that is not the sites fault.

Quiet, dog-friendly site in beautiful setting…
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Quiet, dog-friendly site in beautiful setting near loch. Very well planned - hot showers, clean toilets, we arranged electric hook-up directly with the site, 24 hour check-in, trolleys to take equipment from your car to the pitch. Washing up area useful and especially liked large fridge and freezer for campers to use. Shelter came in handy when the rain beat down, which was very often! Very well stocked shop next door. Also used the outdoor laundrette facility which was straightforward. The restaurant and take-away is also very close and we used that for some evening meals, reasonably priced and delicious food. Friendly e-mails from PNG staff to keep in touch. All staff we met were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked The weather - relentless wind and rain which meant some ferries were cancelled.

Memorable amazing stay
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Everything ! The view and facilities were first class,
The showers were the best I have had in a campsite and spotlessly clean,
There was plenty space and a very well and very reasonably priced grocers shop.

Liked At first I was a bit sceptical about the contactless check-in but in fact it was very simple and straight forward.
The site is in a fantastic setting and the facilities are very good - clean, warm and even a laundry.
The inn on site is an added bonus - we ate there one evening and would highly recommend.
