Good layout, plenty of space. Friendly staff, shop well stocked. Quiet site, free mini golf. Dogs allowed. Good facilities for campers in the campers caravan including kettle microwave and a place to sit and charge your phone! Short walk to beautiful beach. Patchy wifi but you're supposed to be there to enjoy the great outdoors anyway!

By bus:

On weekends there are 5 services departing from 6:35am until 6pm. Journey time is approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes. Local attractions

Just five miles away from Campbeltown there are three distilleries (if you like a dram or two) including Springbank, Kilkerran and Glen Scotia. Fancy seeing more of Kintyre? There are regular bus links to the “Wee Toon” (that’s Campbeltown in case you are wondering) with its many shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries. There’s a swimming pool, gym and cinema there too, so there’s plenty for everyone to enjoy.

Home of the famous golf links and one of the most idyllic settings on the Kintyre peninsula, Machrihanish offers panoramic views and stunning sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean. Visit the seabird observatory for a chance to find out more about the native birdlife and some of the most exotic visitors to the peninsula.

You'll also be very close to a four-mile sandy beach with wonderful wildlife including seals, otters and dolphins, to name just a few. A beautiful white sand beach stretches four miles from Machrihanish to West Port and offers some of the best surf in Scotland. Take a stroll along the shore and get up close to the colonies of seals that call this home. Back in the village, relax with a drink or dine out in The Old Clubhouse bar and restaurant, which serves home favorites and Scottish classics, seven days a week. The newly revamped Ugadale Hotel also serves meals in the Kintyre Club and features a spa.
