What customers say
This campsite boasts spectacular Loch Lomond views, with many pitches offering direct water access. Facilities are generally praised for cleanliness and modernity, and the on-site hotel is considered a convenient bonus. However, some visitors report issues with overcrowding, noise from jet skis and long-term residents, and occasionally poor maintenance of facilities, including flooded shower areas. Limited local amenities and a lack of dedicated dog walking areas are also noted.

We had a very good stay, it was a good stop off point
Camping pod

Disliked The midges, but you can’t help those in Scotland 😅

Liked On the edge of Loch Lomond
Disliked Stayed in glamping pod. Mattresses were rock hard. Paid extra for a linen pack, got a sleeping bag, liner, pillow and towels. Who wants to sleep in someone else's sleeping bag. It also appears to be a meeting place for jetski owners, so swimming had to be very selective.

Liked Beautiful view
Disliked Pitched in what was basically a car park.
Facilities adequate at best.
Dogs running free despite rules they must be on leash.
Over priced for what's on offer.

Insufficient infrastructure. The excuse? We are working on it.
Fully-serviced gravel and sand touring pitch
Liked Nothing. This is the overflow car park to the pub and static caravans.
Disliked We paid for a fully serviced pitch. This means mains electric, fresh water to plumb in to the caravan and waste water removal.
We got electric. Fresh water was a tap 2w inches off the ground shared by 8 other vans.
Waste water was grid in the ground.

Stunning Location with great facilities & pub.
Fully-serviced gravel and sand touring pitch (waterside)
Liked Stunning location
When arrived at 1.40pm reception was locked and 2 people in uniform said it was closed until 2.30pm? Bewildered as check in said from 1pm, however a very friendly young man appeared within minutes (with his lunch) and gave us the info and directions to our pitch. Very professional.
Was blown away, stunning views close to Loch and even had a swim.
Facilities were clean , our serviced pitch was perfect and the on site hotel was very handy. Food looked good but we just had drinks.
Disliked Jet skis zoomed around loudly on Loch until 9.30pm, very annoying!
Picked up litter left near our Motorhome in the morning.

The view.…
Fully-serviced gravel and sand touring pitch
Liked The view.
Disliked If I wanted to stay in a car park, I'd have paid the £12.50 down the road to stay in the car park pitches on the side of the road rather than in this awful place. The pictures are completely misleading. Behind the 'pitches' is a massive static caravan park. The car park you get shoved in to 'pitch up' at is completely close quarters, squished up against each other. Our experience involved being next door to someone being allowed an american style tailgate party, rowdy music in the caravans behind us and off lead dogs coming and bothering our on lead dog throughout our stay. The toilets were flooded constantly. Nothing peaceful about this place. Safe to say we arrived, slept and left as soon as possible. Would never stay again.

Brilliant small site with great views and surrounds.
Fully-serviced gravel and sand touring pitch (waterside)
Liked Absolutely amazing place for a campsite. Bonus for us was the weather. Camp right next to water which was great for our canoe and paddleboard. Very peaceful campsite, no issues.
Disliked Only negative issue is that on their website it states small shop. On arrival were told they hadn't had a shop onside for 5 years. Closest shop is in Crianlarich, so make sure you pack everything you need.
