The view.…
Fully-serviced gravel and sand touring pitch
Liked The view.
Disliked If I wanted to stay in a car park, I'd have paid the £12.50 down the road to stay in the car park pitches on the side of the road rather than in this awful place. The pictures are completely misleading. Behind the 'pitches' is a massive static caravan park. The car park you get shoved in to 'pitch up' at is completely close quarters, squished up against each other. Our experience involved being next door to someone being allowed an american style tailgate party, rowdy music in the caravans behind us and off lead dogs coming and bothering our on lead dog throughout our stay. The toilets were flooded constantly. Nothing peaceful about this place. Safe to say we arrived, slept and left as soon as possible. Would never stay again.

Liked Absolutely fantastic site with great views of the Loch. Spotless facilities and extremely friendly Staff would definitely stay again
Disliked Showers although spotless drenched the whole floor area of the toilet block so getting changed was a bit of a juggling act

Liked Spacious and well kept grounds.
Disliked A bit characterless.
For 1-2 nights as a short stay on longer rout is ok-ish.
Camping pod
Liked Close to lake, clean shower, very nice people at reception,
Pod with heating floor!
Disliked Very small pods, the camping makes feeling as a bit messy and very tighltly packed.
No really a beach, rather 8m slighly shored.
No place with any picnik area, so not realy a place for accomodation with children.

Fully-serviced gravel and sand touring pitch (waterside)
Liked Simple set up, gravelled area adjacent to the loch. Electric and water at the pitch. Good toilet and shower facilities. Adjacent hotel food was good.
An OK stop off point but I wouldn't rush back
Camping pod
Liked Camping pods are standard and clean. Staff were very friendly. Park is in a beautiful location. Good ferry connection for walking the west highland way. Is located in a popular place to hire water sport equipment i.e jet skis, boats, paddle boards
Disliked We camp a lot both under canvas and in pods and we weren't a massive fan of this site. The camping pods are located behind the reception block facing onto caravans and have tractors and maintenance equipment behind them, not the most picturesque. I also felt the pods were too close together. The womans toilet block wasn't very clean on the night we visited but the gents was spotless. The food at the attached hotel is good and staff very friendly but service is very, very slow so be warned if you plan on eating there. You also cant be served breakfast/coffee at the hotel unless you are a hotel guest despite a sign on the outside saying open for breakfast.
