Liked Lovely warm welcome on arrival, quiet, peaceful site in beautiful surroundings. The shower exceeded our expectations, spotlessly clean with extra touches.
We would definitely stay at Hillhead again.

Disliked Bagni puliti ma da sistemare. Vecchi…. Area scarico acque grigie poco spaziosa e con una sbarra pericolosa sé non si sta attenti. Mi sono quasi spezzata un dito.
Un’ area bagno aggiuntiva sarebbe gradita. I bagni in teoria dovevano avere un codice accesso ( fornito all’ingresso) ma in realtà non c’era nemmeno il tastierino

Warden was a lovely lady (Belle) who was very welcoming and helpful.
Disliked Very basic campsite with very noisy long term campers.
Facilities limited but clean.
Only 6 amp electricity so had to use gas kettle!
Couldn’t get wifi as advertised.

Liked Peaceful, good flat ground to pitch on. None of the pitches are any distance from the facilities, which are perfectly good. There's a proper laundrette if required. Isabel who welcomed me was absolutely lovely. Felt safe as a solo woman.
Disliked Toilets ran out of loo roll, bring your own just to be sure.

Liked It was a nice quiet place. LOVED open access to the fire BBQ center. Bathrooms were dated but clean. Water was nice and hot. Laundry facilities were handy.
