Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely lady on reception , who explained why there was no hot water for showers etc. Nice pitch, quiet
Disliked No hot water on site. Rather tired toilet block. Apparently they had run out of oil a few days ago, but we'd already paid online.

What customers say
This is a peaceful and well-located campsite, praised for its friendly welcome, spacious pitches, and clean facilities. Many appreciate the quiet atmosphere and countryside views. While the facilities are generally clean and functional, some guests note they are dated and in need of an upgrade, particularly concerning hot water in showers and Wi-Fi. The site is noted as good value and convenient for exploring the local area.

Liked Clean and tidy park. Quiet location with no road noise. Helpful staff explained everything we needed to know and left mobile number for us to call if any problems
Disliked Not easy to fill water tank from very short hose on the tap. Ended up using our own water carrier and funnel.

Very disappointing
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked It was convenient for where we wanted to be.
Most pitches are reasonably well spaced.
Disliked The site is tired and run down. The grass had been cut but all the pitches had lots of weeds growing through the gravel. The toilet/ shower facilities were very poor. In the gents there were two showers, one designated for the disabled, the other one was tiny. The water was cold. One WC and two urinals. The whole place needs some TLC and an upgrade.
The electric hook up is 6 amps.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Nice small site with lots of space around it for kids and dogs.
I picked my own pitch from the ones available and was close to all the amenities.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Great little retreat, I will be back soon.
Disliked If I was being picky, maybe a couple of the pitches are not the flattest. But fine if you have levelling ramps.
WiFi was not working, but you get a great phone reception anyway.
