Turn your surfing sessions into an overnight stay when you book The Wave, the ultimate surfing pop-up escape located a mere 200 metres from the surfing lake. There’s plenty for everyone to do – whether you’re with friends and family or striking out alone – while you’re on site; master the waves with a surf lesson, soak up the vibe at the skate ramp or take the kids to the play park before settling down for the night right next door. The surf is pumping every day from early in the morning, and The Wave puts you in pole position mere metres from the shoreline. You can wake up to the sound of the waves and be catching them within minutes – and after a day on the water, head to the lively Clubhouse for delicious local food and a front-row seat to the antics on the lake. The Clubhouse’s café is open from post dawn-patrol breakfasts right the way through the day, until the last bite of pizza after a sunset session in the evening. And if you’ve forgotten any gear, never fear, as you can pick up all the essentials in the surf shop, from boards to equipment, clothes and souvenirs.
