Liked: Beautiful, quiet location, even though it is just off the A303. Lovely relaxing views. Showers and toilets were good. There are 2 pubs in Hindon village which is a short walk away. We only stopped by for a drink at The Lamb, staff friendly and welcoming. We briefly met the owner shortly after arrival, otherwise left to our own devices. If you wake up early there can be a wonderful sunrise to view.

Liked: This was a lovely site. Great views and the toilets and showers were excellent. Great village down the road with good food. We were cycling in the area, quiet roads and lovely countryside. Would defiantly use this site again. We were spoiled as the first night we had the whole site to ourselves.
Disliked: Would be ideal to have separated waste recycling, but to be fair I am not sure how the local recycling is done!

From the manager: Thank you for your comments, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. Our Waste company, Grist Environmental, separate and recycle all waste put into the bins. Hence why we do not have separate recycling bins.
Nice basic state, very convenient, friendly contact

Liked: This was our first camping experience and we loved it! Our tent had a run in with a fence but the owner was on hand with gaffer tape so we could repair it. They also were able to accommodate another nights stay as we enjoyed it so much. Our likes: Dog friendly Large pitches Toilets and showers were individual, spacious and immaculately clean! Great location for walking
Disliked: Nothing to dislike!

Liked: The owner of the site was a gem, friendly and so helpful. He can’t help the weather so when my parents large motorhome got stuck in the mud he pulled them out with his tractor and towed them out the day we left. The site is a field in the countryside so no light pollution at night allowing wonderful star gazing. Drinking water tap close to our pitch. Toilets and showers cleaned each morning. Fire pits allowed (weather permitting) On leash dogs allowed Good 4G on phone despite being rural.
Disliked: The local pub (grosvenor arms) very unwelcoming.
