Perfect weekend at a perfect camp site
Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Down on the Farm is a lovely campsite with spacious pitches. The farmer and his wife were so friendly and helpful, which made a big difference as it was our first time camping.
The facilities were excellent the café/restaurant had plenty of choice at great prices, and the little BBQ night with late opening at the weekend was definitely a bonus. The showers were amazing too, really clean and well maintained.
The farm itself and the children’s play area were a big hit with my kids they absolutely loved it!
We would definitely recommend this campsite and will definitely be coming back.
Disliked Only thing I would say was they need more toilets as there was a little queue in the mornings

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely campsite! Loads to do for the kids, a big play barn, ride on tractors, friendly cows to see. Lovely cafe and we stayed over bank holiday weekend and we saw a hot air balloon take off from site and they did a bbq. We only stayed 2 nights and the kids didn't want to leave.
About 15 mins down the road is cotswolds water park with swimming amd activities

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked This was our very first family camping trip, and we couldn’t have picked a better place! From the moment we arrived, George and Alison were so welcoming, helpful and genuinely lovely it felt more like staying with friends.
The facilities were excellent. The showers were perfect for families, with everything in one space shower, toilet and a bench making it so easy with little ones. The play barn, ride-ons and café were a huge hit, and kept our children entertained for hours.
The location is also spot on, with Cotswold Water Park, Malmesbury and Cirencester all just a short drive away. We only stayed for two nights, but our daughter was genuinely disappointed it wasn’t five and we completely understand why.
A brilliant family-friendly site with that rare personal touch. We’ll definitely be back

Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Very friendly staff, helpful with any queries and very welcoming. Pitch size was very big and lots of open space for the kids to play, the play barn and cafe were both great too.
Disliked Not enough washing up stations or showers but being a new site this may be added to in the future.

Lovely place to stay for the whole family. We will definitely be back
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The cafe and play barn were great, our daughter loved them. Set up was nice and there was plenty of space.
Disliked Could do with a few more showers

Great family park
Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We had a lovely stay over the bank holiday weekend. Even though the campsite is new, the owners have done so much to get it ready for campers. The cafe is a great addition with the BBQ, pizzas and bar. They even arranged hot air balloons. There are some niggly things to be done but it did not deter or dampen our weekend in any way. The site is big and spacious. The showers were hot and the pressure great and it was nice to have your own cubicle. There needs to be a few more especially for busy times and possibly leave the exrra toilets open for night time and very early morning but we just showered earlier to avoid the rush. We will definitely be back.
