  • Quiet site on a former dairy farm at the foot of the Mendip Hills
  • A 25-minute drive from Weston-super-Mare and 45 minutes to Bristol
  • Within walking distance of a cider farm, activity centre and local pub
Go on and have yourself a peaceful break on a former dairy farm at the foot of the Mendip Hills. Lower Court Farm may be quiet and remote, but it has great links to the outside world. It’s only 25 minutes’ drive away from the lively seaside resort of Weston-Super-Mare (beach anyone?) and 45 minutes from action-packed Bristol. Getting out on foot from Lower Court Farm is splendid too. There are cider farm tours and local pubs for eating and drinking 20 minutes’ walk away and an outdoor activity centre running all sorts of activities 25 minutes’ walk away. This is a place to get away from it all – once you’re done being active, there’s plenty of peace and quiet to relax and get back to nature on the little site. There’s access to portable toilet and shower facilities, along with permission to rustle up a barbecue or a firepit. The edge of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is just a short walk away for the hikers among you. And if you’ve brought along two wheels, the Strawberry Line cycling path starts in Yatton, 15 minutes’ drive away, and heads across Somerset and the coast. Further out is Cheddar (15 minutes’ drive) and Wells (half an hour).
