  • Small & peaceful campsite on a community farm in the historic village of Wedmore.
Our little campsite is a not for profit site supporting our wider community farm project. . Exempt by the Greener Camping Club, we run a small, clean, neat and tidy site with beautiful vistas looking over the Mendip Hills.

Please note
  • Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
  • No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • Facilities/activities including Sauna are subject to extra charges payable on arrival.
  • The sauna (and/or hammam) is open between 01/02 and 20/12.
  • No cars/motorbikes by the pitch/unit. All cars must be parked in the designated area.
  • At least one of the party members must be aged 25 or over.
  • Guests must bring their own duvets, pillows, sheets and towels when staying in rental accommodation. You will not be allowed to stay if you do not bring these items.
  • Minimum spacing of 8 metres between pitches.
  • This is a quiet site: no music is allowed.
  • If making a fire, the fuel, logs and coal have to be purchased on site.
  • Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
  • No naked flames are allowed inside the hired accommodation units.
  • Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
  • Bookings for Tent must not be for more than 6 consecutive nights.

Route directions

Next to our "Wedmore Village Farm" sign on Plud St you'll see an open farm gate. Go through the gate and follow the track around the first field. You'll come up into the farm and from there follow the "Campsite" signs.

Although the site feels away from everything, we are only a 5 minute walk to the village recreation ground with sports bar, tennis courts, kids playground and free parking. We are a gentle 15 minute walk from the centre of the village with gastro pubs, restaurants, cafes, and independent shops. . If you'd like to visit a town or city for the day, we are 15 minute drive to Wells with its historic cathedral. A 20 minute drive to Glastonbury with its Abbey, Tor and unusual shops. A 10 minute drive to Cheddar for its gorge and walks. A 40 minute drive to Bristol, and an hours drive to the Georgian city of Bath. . So much to see and do, or just kick back and enjoy our wood fired sauna or ceramic egg BBQ.
