Liked The location was perfect. Beautiful views out to sea where we spotted 2 porpoises and later a dolphin.
Also really handy for the restaurants , craft shops and walks in Porlock Weir, only a 5 minbutes walk.
Disliked The compost loo wasn't ideal and it would have been good to have water next to it to rinse the sawdust off your hands.

Disliked We was worried about the hill and getting out at first, but once we tried it ,it was ok.
Perfect simple and clean site.

Liked Super spot- small field location, moments from Porlock Weir (short walk). Lovely view of the sea and always great to go to sleep listening to the sea!
The field was clean and all that’s needed.
Our host came to check the site and was very friendly/helpful, ably assisted by his farming sons and Pronto the sheepdog!
Would be great to visit again but my son would be pushing to help on the farm especially if it meant going on the quad!
Many thanks!
From the manager: Thanks very much for a great review. So glad you enjoyed your stay and you managed to have a good time on the water, it would be lovely to have you stay again!

Liked What a beautiful spot! Excellent location and exactly what we needed for a calm end to summer hols.
Disliked Bear in mind that it's really basic field with water tap and compost loo, also that it's sloping. However if you have what you need with you and also pitch your tent at top or bottom of field then it's completely fine - what it lacks in amenities it more than makes up for in location and gorgeous view.
And really affordable too, we'll defs be returning 😊
From the manager: Thanks so much for your great review, glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we hope to see you again!

Liked Great campsite very secluded.basic facilities but well worth it for the great view and placement very close to the beach
Excellent value for money, location and sea views.
Non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Porlock Weir campsite was a back to basics campsite which I was nervous about but didn't need to be. The sea views were incredible and the location was perfect to either walk along the shore or visit Porlock Weir and have a meal / drink. This was a real gem of a site - a great find on Pitch Up. Only thing is that the field is on a slope but didn't cause me any issues.
From the manager: Thanks for your great review Lisa, hope to see you again!

Liked Great view.
Very poor site very few flat spaces to pitch a tent.
Just left and wasted my money.
From the manager: Sorry you decided not to stay at the site and at least give it a chance. We like to think that what the site lacks in a level gradient it more than makes up for with great views and a wonderful location. Many people have now enjoyed what our small pop up site has to offer, so once again im sorry you didn't feel like staying to find out for yourself.
