Rexes Hollow Campsite is a quiet, small places to camp. Offering basic facilities and grass pitches, we are an ideal place to get away from it all.

It is a members only site but membership can be obtained on site.

Rexes Hollow is two miles south of Yeovil , Somerset within the village of Stoford and is nestled within a network of public footpaths and cycle routes, surrounded by beautiful countryside and stunning views.

The site is situated next to Old Mill fishing lakes and within walking distance of The Royal Oak in the village, a perfect combination for a weekend break.

If travelling from North A30/A37 please turn first left on Two Tower Lane (by Yeovil showground) signposted for Yeovil Junction. At end of this lane turn right onto Newton Road then at bottom of the hill turn first right into Rexes Hollow Lane. Our entrance is first on the left. If you miss the Two Tower lane turning then please continue 2m until the next Yeovil junction sign. Do not take Church Lane (at Red House roundabout) or Barwick turning as these access are too narrow for caravans.

From South on A37 please turn right into Hoopers Lane (sign posted for Stoford & Yeovil Junction Station) keep following through village until you pass Old Mill Fishery on left, take first left into Rexes Hollow Lane then first gate on Left.

Local attractions

Ninesprings Country Park, is situated within the town of Yeovil and offers 127 acres of natural parkland. There is lovely woodland, a lake, streams, flat open grass and a play area. Plenty of woodland trails - some are hilly and there are also gates. The open flat area is ideal for ball games, kites and picnics and there is a cycle path along the old railway network. Ninesprings can be accessed walking from the site via the public footpaths.

Yeovil Steam Railway
Yeovil Steam Railway is less than ten minutes walk from site and features steam train rides, miniature railway, museum, art gallery and visitor centre.

There is also fly fishing for trout at Sutton Bingham reservoir only three miles away.
Ham Hill

Ham Hill is a geological Site of Special Scientific Interest, Scheduled Ancient Monument, Iron Age hill fort, Roman site, Local Nature Reserve and country park, to the west of Yeovil in Somerset, England.
Ham Hill is a 15 minute drive from the campsite.

Local Beaches
If you like a trip to the coast, the nearest beach is West Bay, Bridport which is 19 miles from Stoford. Alternatively, Weymouth beach is a blue flag beach and harbour, is 27 miles but can also be reached by train from Yeovil Penn Mill station
