What customers say
This peaceful shepherd's hut offers a comfortable and well-equipped stay, perfect for exploring Wells and Glastonbury. Guests consistently praise the welcoming host, Anne, and the delicious cream tea provided. The hut's kitchen is described as excellent, and the beds and hot showers are comfortable. While one guest noted flies entering the hut during a heatwave, this was attributed to it being a working farm. The location is convenient for exploring the local area and is within walking distance of public transport.

Shepherd's hut
Liked To Rest A While provided the perfect home for us to explore Wells and Glastonbury over the weekend. It was perfect for us as we don’t have a car and was a 7 minute walk from the Mendip Explorer bus and a 30ish minute walk to Wells. It was very peaceful on the farm.
Disliked Due to the heatwave we had to leave the door and windows open resulting in a lot of flies coming in (it is a working farm after all). There is a little fenced off area around the hut to relax in - you cannot roam the farm which is fair enough.

A perfect little gem.
Shepherd's hut
Liked Found this little last minute gem for summer solstice.
Greeted by Anne and a delightful cream tea.
Had to call about a small issue, but was quickly resolved and nothing was to much of a problem.
Everything you need is in the kitchen, the bed is comfortable, there is plenty of hot water and dressing gowns provided. A little secluded place outside to eat and relax, whilst listening to the birdsong.
Perfect location for Glastonbury and exploring the surrounding area.
Thankyou for giving us a chilled out weekend.
