This is an adult-only campsite with spacious, level pitches and friendly, helpful staff. The on-site pub is a highlight, serving excellent, reasonably priced food and local ales. Facilities are basic but generally clean and functional, with hot showers available. The location is praised for its peace and quiet, offering beautiful countryside views and good access to local attractions. While some guests noted dated shower blocks and occasional issues with cleanliness, the overall value for money is consistently highlighted.

Great campsite at the edge of Exmoor
Electric grass and earth pitch
Liked Large pitch areas with plenty of electric points. Located on the back of a pub but was very quiet at night. Decent toilets and hot water always available, even at the washing up area outside.
25 minutes by car from Minehead and at the edge of Exmoor National Park with so much to do/visit.
Disliked Great place considering prices are very reasonable. The 4 individual showers rooms are decent but lead directly to the outside, more suitable for summer time.

Great location, we will be back
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Ease of access and proximity to the inn. Food at the inn is fantastic. My wife & I had 2 courses each with 2 drinks each for about £70. Cooked to perfection and really tasty. A well varied menu, with several gluten free options.

The pitch was fine but the…
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked The pitch was fine but the weather was atrocious, permanently had wet feet due to the length of the grass. The staff were brilliant, especially the young fellas on the bar and bringing the food. Eventually gave up with my Trailer Tent and stayed in one of the rooms in the annexe of the pub. That was heaven and my German Shepherd really appreciated it with the central heating. Her normal sleeping is on my sofa or next to a radiator. Thankyou also to the lady on the hotel reception, who was very patient when I was bending her ear. Telling her of my family who live nearby the pub. Thankyou

Nice place to camp just needs a little more tlc
Electric grass and earth pitch
Liked It’s all played out very well, staff are helpful and friendly. Cooked breakfast in the pub was just lovely and eat all you can filled me for the whole day.
Disliked Grass could be kept shorter and having a shower with dead bugs and cobwebs aren’t for everyone!
